History
Founded in 1927, the John Oates Company started as a producer of Oil and Gas in the Texas Panhandle. C.J. Oates settled in the Stinnett, TX and began drilling his own wells to provide for himself, and the community. This paved the way for future generations to expand.

Acidizing
In the early 1980's, after graduating from the University of Texas, C.J.'s grandson Jack moved to the panhandle to continue his grandfathers legacy. In 1991 Jack expanded the company into chemical stimulation and pressure pumping services. Today we proudly continue this service and offer many options for stimulating customers wells.
Cased Hole Wireline
In 2019, the 4th generation, Colby John decided to fill a market void and bring his expertise from the Barnett Shale to expand into Cased Hole Wireline. We are currently servicing Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and New Mexico with perforating, logging, and other services.
